Grace & Grain Sourdough

Daily bread, slowly leavened and baked with gratitude.

Fed until lively and ready to lift the dough naturally.

02 Fold

Built by hand for strength, texture, and an airy crumb.

03 Bake

Scored, steamed, and baked until the crust sings.

The weekly rhythm

A faithful bake, planned around freshness.

Lina bakes to the order list, not a shelf. The week has a steady rhythm so every loaf has time to ferment, rest, and come out of the oven ready to bless a table.

Why it tastes different

Bread with patience and purpose.

Grace & Grain loaves are built over time, not rushed. Lina feeds her starter, folds the dough by hand, lets flavor develop slowly, then bakes each loaf with gratitude until the crust sings.

01 Naturally leavened

No commercial yeast, just a lively starter and steady care.

02 Slow fermented

A long rest gives the bread its depth, texture, and gentle tang.

03 Made to bless

Small batches keep every loaf personal, beautiful, and ready to share.

meet the baker

Hi, I'm Lina.

Grace & Grain began in the quiet parts of our home: a starter jar on the counter, flour on the table, and a desire to make something simple with faithful care. I kept baking for family, then friends, then neighbors who wanted bread that felt fresh, honest, and made with intention.

Now each weekly bake is planned around real orders, not a shelf. I mix, fold, shape, score, wrap, and label every loaf myself. My hope is that each one feels like a small provision for the table: daily bread made with patience, gratitude, and hands-on care.

Questions

Good to know before you order.

How long does the bread stay fresh?

It is best the first three days, toasted beautifully after that, and freezes well when sliced.

How should I store sourdough?

Keep it cut-side down on a board for the first day, then wrap it in a bread bag or towel. Avoid the refrigerator.

What ingredients do you use?

Most loaves begin with flour, water, starter, and salt. Specialty loaves include the ingredients listed on the weekly menu.

Does sourdough contain gluten?

Yes. Grace & Grain bread is not gluten-free and is made in a home kitchen that handles wheat and other common allergens.

Do you offer custom orders?

Custom flavors and larger orders are welcome when the bake schedule allows. Add a note to the preorder form.

How does delivery work?

Lina confirms delivery details after your order request. Neighbors receive Sunday delivery, and co-workers receive Monday delivery.

When do I pay?

Payment details are sent after Lina confirms your preorder. This keeps the form simple and avoids charging for sold-out loaves.
